FAQ
How can coaching help me?
Coaching offers space and time to reflect on issues and concerns that are challenging you and impacting upon your effectiveness and satisfaction. It can help you to discover deeper insights, build resilience, manage change constructively and find new ways to navigate complex issues.
This is achieved by creating opportunities for honest conversation, deep reflection and personal learning, something that is often absent in the busyness of our lives. Coaching supports and challenges you to develop personal courage and confidence to make new choices that increase your satisfaction with life.

What is the difference between coaching and counselling?
The important distinction between counselling and coaching is that counselling usually investigates the roots and causes of potential or existing mental health problems, whereas life coaching focuses mainly on the future to encourage personal development and self-improvement. Life coaches are not (unless specified) qualified to diagnose or treat any health-related problems, although if the situation arises they may suggest you see a GP or other appropriate professional.
Do you offer online or telephone coaching?
Yes – we offer both online (usually through Skype) and telephone coaching. However, we do prefer the initial meeting/consultation to be face to face and an appropriate venue will be agreed beforehand.
